The Harvard Center Shanghai organized a talk on “A Conversation on Educational Innovation in the 21st Century” featuring Professor Fernando Reimers and Dr. Connie Chung from Global Education Innovation Initiative of Harvard Graduate School of Education on January 15, 2016.
Led by Professor Willy C. Shih and Professor William C. Kirby from Harvard Business School, some second-year HBS MBA student traveled to Shanghai for their Immersion Field Course on January 9 to 21, 2016. During the period, these students participated in orientation, faculty office hour, reception with local HBS alumni, project presentations and other activities at Harvard Center Shanghai.
The Harvard Business School Global Experience Office organized a dinner reception for some first-year HBS MBA students at Harvard Center Shanghai on January 7, 2016. Led by Senior Lecturer of Business Administration H. Lawrence Culp, these students traveled to China from January 2 to 12 for their FIELD Global Immersion Course.
The Harvard Center Shanghai organized a reception with Harvard University leaders on December 10, 2015. It was led by Tamara Rogers, Vice President for Alumni Affairs and Development, Leah Rosovsky, Vice President for Strategy and Programs and Professor Xiao-Li Meng, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
This reception offered a great opportunity to meet with these Harvard University leaders and receive updates on the University’s new development, both in the Greater China region and globally.
The Harvard Club of Shanghai hosted its 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Harvard Center Shanghai on December 5. At this year’s AGM, speakers shared their insights and engaged in discussion on social responsibility from both non-profit organizations and private sectors. The speakers included Mr. Yao Ming, owner of the Shanghai Shark Basketball Club and founder of the Yao Charity Foundation; Mr. Leong Cheung, executive director of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Charity Trust and Ms.
Harvard Business School MBA Admissions Office hosted an interviewee reception at Harvard Center Shanghai on November 23, 2015.
