The Harvard Medical School Office of Global Education organized a symposium on “Big Data in Healthcare: The Impact on Healthcare Quality, Cost and Access in China” at the Harvard Center Shanghai on April 18 and 19, 2016. It was conducted by Professor Ajay K. Singh, Associate Dean for Global Education, Professor Charles Safran, Director of Informatics Training, Assistant Professor Li Zhou and Assistant Professor Roberto Rocha from Harvard Medical School. 

The symposium aimed to introduce innovative information technology and explore leading advanced applications that are increasingly being used in the healthcare industry to provide high quality, personalized care for patients.
