The 2023 HBS Forum on Chinese Companies Going Global concluded successfully on July 1st! The forum is hosted by Harvard Center Shanghai, HBS Club of Shanghai and HBS Club of Beijing. HBS Prof. William C. Kirby started the forum with a case discussion about the strategy of NIO, a global smart EV company headquartered in China. Then HBS Prof. Feng Zhu facilitated a panel discussion of the business models of Chinese companies going global. The forum also included other guest speakers’ sharing of their insights and experience for Chinese companies to operate in Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe & North America. More than 100 Harvard alumni and industry professionals attended the forum.
