International Cooperation in East Asia to Address Climate Change

Organized by Harvard Project on Climate Agreements, the Research Workshop on “International Cooperation in East Asia to Address Climate Change” was hosted at Harvard Center Shanghai on Wednesday, September 27, leading by Robert Stavins, A.J. Meyer Professor of Energy & Economic Development at Harvard Kennedy School and Robert Stowe, Executive Director of the Harvard Environmental Economics Program.

This workshop examined the status of climate change policy in the countries of East Asia and of international cooperation to address climate change. Participants, including social scientists (economists, political scientists) and legal scholars, also explored options for increased cooperation in the future.
