Webinar Case Discussion on HBS Online: Reimagining the Future of Business Education?

As the first event of the Case Centennial Celebration in Asia-Pacific, the virtual case discussion on an HBS case Digital Marketing at HBS Online was facilitated by Patrick Mullane, Executive Director of HBS Online on October 12, 2021.

The event started with an introduction to HBS Online, including its mission, features, as well as current and upcoming courses. Then, 11 panelists from the Asia-Pacific region entered a guided discussion on the key issues HBS Online is facing, such as whether its priority for content growth should be short-form content or learning tracks, how to strike a balance between providing greater access to the HBS content and preventing potential brand dilution, and how to ride the new trends in business education. There were more than 160 audiences who observed the live discussion including Harvard alumni and friends from various countries in Asia.
