Nancy Dai is the Managing Director and Executive Director of Harvard Center Shanghai. She has years of experience conducting business and management research in China. From 2009 to 2018, she led case development for Harvard Business School in the Asia-Pacific region, based out of Harvard Center Shanghai. From 2005 to 2009, she worked at China Europe International Business School as Research Fellow and Manager of the Center of Organizational and People Excellence. Most recently, she was responsible for the development of executive education programs at TencentX, a learning platform Tencent set up for start-up founders and entrepreneurs. She is the co-author of two books: Gains and Pains: Globalization of Chinese Firms and Winning by Talent.

She holds an M.B.A from the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada and an M.A. and a B.A. in English Language & Literature from Shanghai International Studies University.
